Smiles Forever

Alejandro has worked with Smiles Forever at a Legal Representative since it's inception. He is dedicated to making Smiles continue to develop. He manages communications and directs the process of the program.

"My name is Flavia Cervantes Rojas.I live in Cochobamba, Bolivia which is a very beautiful country. I am a student at Smiles Forever and am planning to finish this year. I just want to tell you that is very hard to express myself and everything that I feel in letter, and put my ideas in words, but this program saved my life. I was someone in the world without a family, because the last person that I had was my grandmother and she died. I started to live at the shelter Madre de Dios five years ago so I didn't have any experience of hope about life. I just live everyday. But one day I met a beautiful person; Sandy Kemper who trusted in me like nobody did and gave me this opportunity. She and Smiles Forever changed my life. I used to live in a shelter where nobody was aware of me, now I live since this year at Smile Forever house that is the dream house, where I feel good and I have a lot of help. And since this year I started to study in private school, because i use to study in public one, and at the beginning I didn't want this change but now I'm studying hard to be the best at this school, and I think I will make it.

Smiles Forever is immensely grateful to the efforts of so many to be able to sustain an opportunity to provide young women a chance to learn a skill which will allow them to provide for their families and enhance their lives. We hope to be able to take this educational model to other Third World Countries where opportunities for young women are scarce and the need for oral hygiene is great.

Bolivians are able to experience first hand how the program works and donate to the sustainability of the clinic and training center. After six months in existence, the clinic is able to pay for its own maintenance and supplies. All proceeds fund the existing Smiles Forever Dental Hygiene Training Program, the salaries for the dentists and faculty, equipment and supplies and provides free dental care to the homeless. Smiles Forever is immensely grateful to the efforts of so many to be able to sustain an opportunity to provide young women an chance to learn a skill which will allow them to provide for their families and enhance thier lives. We hope to be able to take this educational model to other Third World Countries where opportunities for young women are scarce and the need for oral hygiene is great.
