Founded in 1988 by Cheryl (Dennie) Smith, Smith Consulting Architects is an award winning firm specializing in master planning, architectural design, and interior design. Our diverse portfolio includes office, industrial, R&D, wet lab, SCIF, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and LEED certified facilities for end-user clients and real estate developers. Smith Consulting Architects offers services from its two Southern California offices, and is also licensed to practice in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Michigan, and Texas.

Smith Consulting Architects currently has the following exciting positions available: PROJECT ARCHITECT Must have experience with commercial, industrial, retail/grocery and TI projects. Experience in US architectural office required. Must be licensed in California with minimum 8 years experience. Must be able to handle multiple assignments and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD required. Revit and Photoshop/graphics experience a plus.

SMITH CONSULTING ARCHITECTS caters to the specialized needs of their biotech & life science clients. This includes R&D and manufacturing facilities for medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and therapeutics. Often, these projects require us to incorporate flexibility for future growth. Our goal is to provide affordable design solutions with systems that allow for future build-out with minimal interruption.

SMITH CONSULTING ARCHITECTS has a wide range of experience in the corporate, build-to-suit, and speculative multi-story office markets. Developments range from single building to multi-building master planned campuses. Projects have ranged from 20,000 to 300,000 square feet. Our goal is to maximize site and building space utilization while providing flexible and architecturally appropriate design solutions.
