Our primary service areas include Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia. Smith Elliott Kearns & Company, LLC has been serving the manufacturing industry for over 45 years. Using this experience, our personnel have gained an in-depth knowledge of manufacturers and an understanding of the manufacturing processes. In addition, our experience with related cost accounting systems provides us the insight and ability to interpret management and production reporting information. Our professionals also have extensive experience with the unique income and property tax provisions related to manufacturers.

Michael P. Manspeaker , CPA, CGMA is a Member of the Firm. Mike is the firm-wide Director of Accounting and Auditing Quality Control. His experience includes working with manufacturing, retirement plan, construction, fi nancial institutions, nonprofi t, and local government clients. In addition, Mike provides clients with business planning and has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions and publicly traded companies.

The SEK&Co Governmental Services Team understands the unique accounting and operational issues within the industry. Our team has experience performing audits and providing consulting services for a wide variety of governmental entities.
