James E. Smith, Jr., Terry McCall and Maureen Blackburn founded Smith, McCall and Blackburn in New Orleans in 1984. The firm specialized in transactional law and general litigation. From that modest beginning, the firm grew to 15 lawyers and today encompasses commercial practice representing some of the largest companies in the New Orleans metropolitan area. James E.
