Smithson, Inc. has been quilting for the wholesale trade for over 60 years. Taking advantage of this experience, we are proud to offer the Quilt King system which we have developed and manufacture. Our Research and Development Department is the quilting workroom and these machines are in use in our plants at the present time.

Smithson Inc. was founded in 1948 by Lee Smithson and Wayne Story in Stover, MO as a family business. In order to be closer to the furniture industry in High Point, NC Lee chose the Sandhills area. In 1957, he opened the NC branch of the business.
