In 1980 Donna Speigel, owner and President of The Snooty Fox, opened the first clothing location. Currently The Snooty Fox has seven clothing locations registering over one hundred thousand consignors! In 2001, Mrs. Speigel delivered the keynote speech at the National Association of Thrift and Resale Shops convention in St. Louis. "It really started as a little idea and now I do feel like a pioneer in this industry" - Donna Speigel. In May of 2000, The Snooty Fox expanded from clothing to furniture and now has seven Furniture Den showrooms! The Furniture Den operates on the same consignment quality standards as the original clothing Snooty Fox. The customer also receives 50% of what the item sells for. "What I'm seeing is that people are just as trendy with their furnishings as they are with their clothing" says Mrs. Speigel.
