From the Desk of President Hovey Snoqualmie Falls Men’s Club May 5, 2010 Spring has sprung and if you are off to a slow start on the golf course it is time to get going. I am excited to announce some new competitions planned for this season. MATCH PLAY IS BACK !!! After a one year hiatus the President’s Cup is back. Four divisions based on handicap. Trophy and cash for each division winner plus the final champ gets his name on the club house trophy. SNOQUALMIE VALLEY CHALLENGE The pros at Mount Si, Cascade, Twin Rivers and our own Dave & Jeff have come up with a new competition between the clubs. The Snoqualmie Valley Challenge will be a season long competition and it’s us against them. Dave will be sending a signup sheet with details. SUMNER MEADOWS HOME & HOME Sumner Meadows Golf Course has issued a challenge and we have accepted. It’s a home and home competition like the Ryder Cup on July 31st and August 1st. We need player to choose from at all handicap levels. This will be good fun, please put your name in the hat. With all these exciting new events plus our regular competitions and tournaments it’s a good idea to hit the links. I know I can use all the practice I can get. The course is improving and greens are in super shape. Call now for tee times. When you are at the course don’t forget to check out the well stocked pro shop for all your golfing needs.
