Robert & Kathleen Mickolyzck and Family Open 6 days a week for hospital, grooming and doggie daycare services and 7 days a week for boarding. Plus, we offer convenient Sunday pick up & drop off hours for boarding only. We have a very experienced, knowledgeable team of licensed Veterinarians at our family owned business, Snowflake Pet Center. It has been family operated for over 40 years. Bob and Kathi Mickolyzck and staff have been helping to keep pets healthy and happy for years. Snowflake Pet Center is the largest and oldest established boarding and grooming service offering pick up and delivery. The Veterinary Hospital has operated for the past ten years. We have affiliations with the Shoreline Emergency Hospital in Shelton and New Haven Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine, for those unexpected situations that need medical care after our regular hours.

Dr. Bashkin has been a solid part of our team for over 10 years. He loves to joke around with the staff and have a fun time at work. Meanwhile, he loves performing surgery and talking with clients in office appointments. During his off time, he looks forward to wine tasting with his wife and having pizza with friends and most of all playing golf on the nice days. Also he speaks Spanish.

About Us Snowflake Pet Center has been a family operated business for over 40 years, offering clients a very experienced, knowledgeable team of licensed veterinarians. The Mickolyzck family has been helping keep pets healthy and happy for years.

Jenny has been grooming for Snowflake Pet Center for over 30 years. It is her passion to make sure all her special grooming pets are looking pretty and handsome. She can groom both dogs and cats, anything from a bath, nail trim, ear cleanings, lion cuts for cats, shave downs, and puppy cuts. If there is a special haircut you want for your pet, bring a picture for an example and I’m sure you will be more then happy. Outside of work she loves to spend time with her grand daughter, cooking and baking. Jenny also speaks Spanish.

We are so lucky to have found Dr. Nicole Dielo, She is an amazing Veterinarian and so good with helping pets. We would like to announce we are expanding services offered at Snowflake Pet Center to include REPTILES AND SMALL MAMMALS. Dr. Dielo is experienced in treating SMALL MAMMALS, for example; RATS, HAMSTERS, GUINEA PIGS, GERBILS, SUGAR GLIDERS, HEDGEHOGS, FERRETS, RABBITS, ETC... She is also experienced in treating REPTILES, for example; TURTLES, IGUANAS, LIZARDS, SNAKES, ETC...
