Socius Law Group was founded in 2004 by eight accomplished lawyers with a history of providing exceptional legal services to businesses and individuals in the Pacific Northwest. Our firm was formed on our core commitment to putting clients and community first.

We provide tax advice in many different settings. In instances involving start-up businesses, we help our clients choose the most tax-efficient entity -- typically a limited liability company, a C corporation or an S corporation. Once a form of entity is selected we help to design a suitable capital structure, governance provisions, and, in many cases, an owner and key manager compensation program.

We represent the full spectrum of business enterprises, from relatively small sole proprietorships to large, diversified, multi-state companies. Many of our clients are family-owned businesses, most with substantial annual revenues. A number of these businesses are involved in some way in real estate, as developers, contractors and retailers that own their own locations. Others are manufacturers, technology companies, distributors, and professional service entities. Our lawyers have the expertise to provide the broad range of legal services these businesses need throughout their lives.
