Roofing contractors should be hired based on more than just the price they quote; there are several other factors that need to be considered as well. Be sure to ask for evidence of licensing and insurance – it could save you a lot of headaches in the event of an accident. -References – Roofing contractors who are proud of their past work should not be hesitant to give you a list of references. You don’t necessarily need to speak to his previous customers, but you might want to. Take a drive by some of the addresses nearby and see how the roof looks. We recommend that you also consider hiring a contractor that does metal roofing.
