Solid State Optronics (SSO) is a pioneering designer and manufacturer of optically isolated switching devices including Optocouplers, MOSFET Drivers, TRIAC Drivers, Solid State Relays, and Integrated Telecom Switches. Our product line covers a broad array of devices from subminiature optocouplers in 4SSOP packages, to Quad SSRs offering 4 discrete SSRs in one compact 16 SOIC package.

When disaster strikes, it's not always clear how to help. We were fortunate to be in a position to offer some assistance. Here, our SSO-Philippines Front Office team purchased and delivered goods and supplies to provide a measure of relief to victims of this disaster.

SSO was founded in 1982 by Zag Kadah - with a singular goal of developing innovative products for a developing and underserved market. Building on earlier solid state technology, SSO developed proprietary patented technology in SSR design. At its inception, at a time when competitors were touting reduction of manufacture to 13 discrete components, SSO's had only 5 - making the SSR easier to assemble, while improving reliability and reducing cost.
