Sound-Craft Systems, Inc., located atop Petit Jean Mountain has long been supplying the presentation needs of users for over 40 years with its Lecternettes, Portapages, wood lecterns, and multimedia lecterns. It’s the rare speaker who hasn’t used a Sound-Craft product some time during his or her career.Originally begun as a Pittsburgh-based commercial sound contracting firm in the early 1940’s by Henry Shaw, Sound-Craft Systems was formally incorporated as a manufacturing firm in 1947. In the late 1950’s Mr. Shaw, taken by the beauty of Petit Jean Mountain, decided to relocate the firm from the Pittsburgh area to its present site.
