Mitch McDougall is the manager of the repair division of Sound Bikes & Kayaks. He is also the instructor for eskimo rolling, whitewater and river running classes. Mitch joined the crew of Sound Bikes & Kayaks back at the beginning in 2000, and we couldn't have done it without him! Mitch has riden bikes most of his life and raced mountain bikes in the semi-pro division and catagory III in road bikes. Mitch transferred his main outdoor interest to whitewater kayaking a few years ago, and is fantastic at it! It helps when you have a river outside your backdoor (figuratively speaking) and your job doesn't start until 10:00 am!! Mitchs' skill on the river is well known here on the Peninsula, and he is able to teach with great comfort the skills that you will need to further your kayaking abilities and knowledge.Nick Russian has been working at Sound Bikes & Kayaks for about a year and a half. Nick has been a cyclist for years as well as a snowboarder and graphics designer. He has a great sense of humor that keeps us and all the customers laughing. As an added bonus, Nick is a great bike mechanic and can answer all of your questions regarding parts, upgrades and new stuff! Right now between work and family, Nick is really into the bike racing scene; he is out to win it all!
