A Recent Sound Science Project: NatureServe and Sound Science has teamed up to win three contracts from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The work is to map and evaluate conditions and prospects for important natural resources in the Mojave Desert, the Great Basin, and Alaska's Seward Peninsula. BLM land managers will use the information that the NatureServe team will develop to clarify strategies and priorities for land management and natural resource conservation on BLM lands. Click here. Workshops, Training, and Meeting Facilitation Sound Science has organized and conducted workshops both in the US and internationally for hundreds of people from the US Forest Service, the US Park Service, state and city agencies, the Department of Defense, and others. Topics have included monitoring, adaptive management, green jobs, urban ecology, and more. Workshops can be tailored in length and content to fit the needs of individual clients.
