(SPEC) is a leading manufacturer of industrial gamma radiography equipment and radioactive sources , and a distributor of many related radiography supplies for the nondestructive testing industry worldwide. Originally founded in Kenner, Louisiana in 1974 by Dick Dicharry , SPEC now occupies two facilities in St. Rose, Louisiana to meet production, research, and development needs. Currently, over thirty dedicated employees work together to meet the needs of industry under the leadership of President, R.D. "Donny" Dicharry and Vice-President, Kevin Schehr.
