Bright Pink®, founded in 2007 by Lindsay Avner , a young women, who at 23 underwent a preventative double mastectomy after testing positive for a genetic mutation that put her at high risk of developing breast cancer. Bright Pink's members act as advocates for the health of all women and focus on providing support and information about the prevention and risk of breast and ovarian cancer. South Bend is committed to help Bright Pink's cause by donating a portion of every pink R2F ® product purchase directly to the Bright Pink® organization.
