NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR MUSEUM EXHIBITIONS (NAME) The National Association for Museum Exhibition, an AAM standing professional committee, is dedicated to advancing the exhibits profession. NAME's mission is to enhances the cultural landscape by advancing the value and relevance of exhibitions through dialogue among individuals, museum leaders, and the public. NAME promotes excellence and best practices, identifies trends and recent innovations, provides access to resources, promotes professional development and cultivates leadership for exhibit professionals.
The SEMC Publication Design Competition began in 1988 to recognize and reward excellence in graphic design in southeastern museum publications. The competition encourages communication, effective design, creativity and pride of work, and recognition of institutional image and identity. Winning entries will be displayed at SEMC’s 2014 Annual Meeting in Knoxville, TN (October 20 - 22, 2014) and featured on the SEMC website. ENTRY RULES: a) Entries must have been published between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014. b) Open to SEMC active institutional and/or corporate members.
