The Early Childhood Education Lab at SCC provides a well-balanced, developmentally appropriate program for each child in a loving, nurturing, and safe environment. It is our philosophy that children learn best through creative, hands-on play in a setting that is rich with learning opportunities. We provide an environment that fosters children's physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth.

Founded in 1964, Southeastern Community College (SCC) is a public, comprehensive community college providing accessible educational, cultural, and social opportunities for area adults.

Founded in 1968, the Southeastern Community College (SCC) Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization that promotes and encourages support of Southeastern Community College. Directors of the SCC Foundation solicit funds through an annual drive and special events. Gifts received are invested and used for student financial aid and student activities, faculty and staff special projects and professional development. The visual and performing arts and other special needs of the college are met through utilization of these funds.
