Frequently Asked Questions How do I get an Auction ID card? Once your application and authorization is complete you will be notified then simply come to the auction during normal business hours and bring your valid driver’s license. How do I add a representative to my dealership? Request and complete an authorization form to be signed by the President and notarized. (GM and Chrysler Factory require more - call for information) How do I pay for my purchases? You are expected to pay for your purchases day of sale. You can either floor plan your vehicles, pay by check (if approved) or pay by cash (includes certified check, bank check & money orders). How do I Floor Plan? As soon as you arrive check in with the counter staff and tell them with whom you are floorplanning. You should be approved by your selected Floor Planner (GMAC, Chrysler, Primus, Etc.) prior to attending. When can I pick up vehicles I purchased? Yard hours are as follows: Monday & Tuesday--8:00am - 6:00pm, Wednesday--6:00am - 11:00pm, Thursday & Friday--6:00am - 8:00pm, Saturday & Sunday--8:00am - 4:00pm. You need to show a paid invoice or gate pass to remove the vehicle. Do you have Financing available through Southern? Yes. Southern Financial Services allows you to floor plan vehicles. The information area will take care of these tasks, there is also a copier near vehicle registration. What lists are available and where do I find them? Fleet/Lease accounts provide a run list which can be found in the Events area of this web site. These lists are also available on a table in the lobby on Tuesday and Wednesday, or by calling the Customer Service Department. Are there lot maps indicating where the vehicles are parked? Maps are located at the table in the lobby and on the back of some of the run lists. They are also available on the kiosks located in the main lobby. How can I locate a specific vehicle I want to purchase? The Customer Service Department, in the Presales area of this web site and the kiosks in the main lobby provide this service. They will identify any vehicle entered in the next auction by year, make, model and provide you with lane, lot and seller. Can I bring a guest to the auction? Why doesn’t the auction allow retail customers? The auction is a place of business for professionals like yourself and to ensure wholesale prices we ask only licensed dealers and their buyers to attend. This rule is strictly enforced. Can I bring my child to the auction? No. We love children and would not want anyone’s child injured at our Auction. This is a very fast paced environment. Do I need to get a Bidder’s Number for all fleet/lease/financial/factory auctions? Weekly fleet/lease auctions DO require a bidder’s number. This includes GMAC, morning and afternoon lease, Enterprise & most banks. Auctions that run on an irregular basis usually require a bidder’s number. This includes ALL closed auctions, First Union, Chrysler Financial, American Honda Finance & Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. Call Customer Service if you have any questions.
