Ron started in the carpentry trade in 1974 when he joined the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers of America. He worked in Washington, D.C. area for over 25 years on various large commercial projects. The Smithsonion Instatute, National Gallery of Art, United States Senate office building are a few of them.

In 1997 he decided that he wanted to start his own business. He wanted to provide clients honest and dependable service. If they required work on their home they knew who to call. To build new friendships and not just a client base. One type of project he just loves to work on are old houses. and make them ready for the next 100 years . Two that he renovated recently were built in 1920 and 1922. On both he built a two story addition with a basement on the back. Cedar shakes to match the original. Inside, the original moldings and trim were replicated?. When you walk through the house it was seamless. "Has this always been here?" "That is a question I love to hear! One thing that bothers me is when I see additions that look like just that. A contractor that had no vision or didn't care. Or covering up the vary architectural details that made this say a Craftsman style. Most of the homes build in the last thirty years or so are cookie cutter. No real style, some version of a two story colonial.
