Southwest Strategies LLC, (SWS) was formed in 2000 by partners, Alan Ziegaus, Bernie Rhinerson and Chris Wahl. The partners brought more than 50 years of combined experience in public relations, public affairs and marketing to the firm which has grown to become one of the leading communications firm’s in the San Diego region. Southwest Strategies offers full service communications services and graphic design for leading San Diego businesses.Each client served by Southwest Strategies is treated as a partner, with one of the company’s principals responsible for ensuring that the communication goals of the client are not only reached but exceeded. We approach each challenge from a strategic point of view, seeking first to learn as much as possible about our client’s business and then applying creative strategies to select and develop the best tools possible that will help to move our clients forward.In 2005, Southwest Strategies expanded its graphic design capabilities with the addition of Frank Mutascio as the firm’s creative director. Frank had been the creative director/owner of Mutascio Graphics and its sister company Websync.com, for more than 23 years. Starting out as an accomplished artist, technical illustrator, animator, and graphic designer schooled in art at Palomar College, Frank has held positions as production artist, designer and creative director for major companies and agencies, providing corporate design and marketing support materials for both business-to-business and commercial companies. His range of experience includes the high tech, consumer, real estate and medical industries.
