Sperian is the leading U.S. manufacturer of vision screeners for basic eyesight testing in educational, medical, industrial, and transportation markets, such as the DMV. Founded in 1908 as Titmus (Chester, VA), the company began as a manufacturer of protective eyewear. In 1959, they introduced their original Vision Screener product which went on to become an industry standard for a half century. Recently, the client's first attempt to re-design the original Vision Screener did not meet market expectations.
