Description

Spectroscopy systems provide a means of recording and analyzing the radiation emission from a wide variety of samples using a personal computer. Multichannel analyzer systems are available for both PC and Macintosh platforms and are supplied complete with acquisition and control software, detector, shield and sample stand assembly, a set of eight gamma sources and experiments manual. All Multichannel analyzers include Multichannel scaling (MCS) for half-life and other time related studies Single channel analyzer systems are available for fixed window measurements such as wipe testing and medical applications. All systems may be configured with alternate detectors and lead shield assemblies. See Detectors and Stands A complete MCA on a PCI plug-in card in 1K, 2K and 4K versions for NaI(Tl) and HPGe systems. ICSPCI xK (where "x" = 1K, 2K or 4K channel version) UCS30 Advanced Universal Computer Spectrometer (USB) System This new Multichannel analyzer connects to a USB port eliminating the need to install cards inside the computer. UCS30 -xK (where "x" = 1K, 2K or 4K channel version) "Experimental Gamma Ray Spectroscopy" A new lab manual covering 24 experiments including naturally occurring isotopes.
