To best serve our diverse community, we provide resources that speak to the specific concerns of single moms, lesbian couples, heterosexual couples and transgendered individuals.

We provide sperm storage services for individuals who face threats to their fertility, are gender transitioning, or who are donating for someone they know.

We are not able to ship to countries (such as England and some states in Australia) that have regulations requiring sperm donors to submit their names to a governmental registry. While we provide extensive medical and personal history on our donors, and we have our optional Identity-Release ® Program, our donor contracts do not permit us to release the donor's name to any other agency.

We provide ethical and visionary leadership in donor conception through our policies, published research, and by working closely with reproductive health professionals and community members.

You may be wondering why TSBC asks for your support when we charge for our services. As the only nonprofit sperm bank in the US, we are dedicated to providing reproductive options to women and couples who might not otherwise be able to afford donor sperm or sperm storage. We are committed to keeping our prices low. Our staff freely offers information and education that is unavailable or costly at other banks. And we conduct research on topics—such as lesbian family-building—that many grant-making foundations are unwilling to support. Current charitable contributions will support the second phase of our study on the outcomes of the Identity-Release® Program. This research is the first systematic study of the well-being and experience of adults conceived in an open-identity sperm donor program.
