Arizona Medjool Dates are hand-sorted to make sure you receive the highest quality selection, fresh off the trees from family ranchers! Black Sphinx Dates Now Available! This hybrid date spontaneously appeared during the 1920's in the early date farming days of Phoenix. Smaller, sweeter, with a thinner skin than Medjool Dates, Black Sphinx Dates are only found in Arizona, primarily in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. We are proud to offer Black Sphinx Dates for the past 60 years. Our business was named after this local delicacy when founded back in the 1950's!
