The Spirit of Syracuse Chorus delights in performing for other organizations and for the community at large. This championship chorus has been entertaining audiences throughout CNY and around the continent for over 30 years. Under the direction of Master Director, Kay Crawford, we are moving forward into vocal music-making at its best.

The Spirit of Syracuse is dedicated to this mission and has a number of programs to offer young singers and music educators. If you are a singer 25 years old or younger, or a music educator working with young women, contact the Spirit of Syracuse and talk to us about how we can help you!

The Spirit of Syracuse has as one of its goals for the future to serve as advocates for life-long singing and is dedicated to exposing people of all ages to the joy of 4-part, a cappella singing in the barbershop style. Both the chorus and quartets of the SOS have begun to offer school visits and community educational events to share the art of barbershop first-hand with singers throughout Central New York.
