TRIPP RHAME Director/DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY At the tender age of four, Tripp's future was forever altered when he lost a fingernail in the gears of a 16mm projector. Since that fatal day, it's been payback time. After graduating from The Atlanta College of Art, he began his ascent up the production ladder through the back-end, the editorial process. Hard work got him into Atlanta's premier edit houses and good fortune allowed Tripp to study under some of the best. While sharpening his edit stick working with agency and broadcast clients, Tripp purchased his first film camera in 1994. It was here that the road began to fork. In 2000 he entered the freelance world and two years later won the BDA Best of Show Judges Award for cinematography on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim launch campaign. Also that year Tripp was recruited by Primal Screen to serve as their Live Action Director and in-house editor. During that time he was part of many award winning projects synonymous with the Primal brand. In 2005 Tripp joined Spitfire Studios and began creating a production company like no other, working with clients such as Electronic Arts, SPIKE DDB, Saatchi & Saatchi NY, The Turner Networks, Nickelodeon, and The Weather Channel.
