Spring Valley’s mission is to provide excellence in education for students who struggle with dyslexia, AD/HD and other learning differences. Our mission is accomplished by creating a multi-sensory, whole-child approach to education in a small class setting. Our curriculum focuses on research-based remedial methods, study strategies and technology that are proven to enable students to accommodate their differences and demonstrate their maximum potential in our school setting and beyond.

At Spring Valley we recognize that students learn differently. With an average class size of 6 to 10, teachers are able to provide an optimal learning environment. Spring Valley School provides a multi-sensory, whole-child approach to education in a nurturing and traditional school setting. Its curriculum incorporates creative strategies and state-of-the-art assistive technology based on proven educational research, enabling students to achieve their maximum potential in and out of the classroom. The emphasis is placed on what each student is and what he/she can do rather than what he/she is not and what he/she cannot do. We balance remediation with a rich and stimulating curriculum that identifies and nurtures our students’ gifts and talents. Spring Valley offers a regular or an advanced high school diploma. Each year 90 percent of the graduating class matriculates at a four-year or a two-year college.
