Description

Hunting Overview Springrove Shooting Preserve consists of some 1,500 acres located near St. Stephen and Lake Moultrie in South Carolina. Most of the hunting is through pines and open fields. In addition to the native coveys, our preserve is stocked regularly with weather conditioned birds from isolated flight pens. An experienced guide and trained dogs accompany each party. Hunters may bring their own dogs if they are manageable. Hunts are scheduled by the half day, on foot, with morning hours 9 a.m. - 12 noon, and afternoon shooting from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. Maximum party size for shoots is four guns. For safety's sake the number of guns shooting at any time is two. Sporting Clays Our champion course will definitely test your shooting skills. The course offers ten shooting stations with fifty "opportunities." A minimum of four shooters per party is required, but this sport is best enjoyed in competitive groups of 6-8 guns per party. This enjoyable shooting sport may be combined with one of our other hunting adventures or you may just accept the challenge of our sporting clays. In either case, we're sure that you will enjoy your visit with us. Limited Hunt With the limited hunt method the hunter has a reasonable chance of securing the limits indicated. Pheasant and Chukar hunts can be arranged. QUAIL One-half day: 1 or 2 guns per guide (Limit of 20 quail per gun) $190.00 per gun One-half day: 3 or 4 guns per guide (Limit of 50 quail per party) $450.00 per party EXTRA BIRDS: Quail -- $8.00 per
