We are the Innkeepers, Chefs and Shopkeepers! We bought the Inn back in 2003, moving here from Orange County, California with our daughter, Taylor. Everyone asks us why? First, we loved the Lakes Region and had been vacationing here for many years. Second, we wanted to have a different lifestyle, working for ourselves. We hope you enjoy what we have created here, the friendly atmosphere, clean and comfortable rooms, great food and a fun shopping experience. We are extremely proud of our staff and they are all shining stars. They are such an important part of the Squam Lake Inn experience that we asked them to contribute to this page. We hope you enjoy meeting them during your visit! I have been working at the Inn since 2007 and have many different tasks at Squam Lake Inn such as housekeeping, laundry, dishwashing and pizza sous chef. My favorite thing about working at the Inn is how we all get along; from talks about our “bird” code names, to chats while ironing, we are a family. I love lunch or dinnertime at the Inn. I have several favorites such as Turkey and Avocado with Bacon (I have mine with honey mustard!) for lunch, and for dinner absolutely anything Chef Rachel prepares, especially her magic risotto!
