Description

For over 20 years the 7th grade students of St. Anthony Jr. Sr. High School have had the opportunity to spend 3 days and 2 nights as guests at Kilauea Military Camp (KMC) situated in Volcanoes National Park (about 4,000’ elevation) on the Big Island. This year, our group walked a total of 10 miles through rainforest and lava trails. The first major hike was 450 ft. down into Kilauea Iki. That evening we walked from KMC to Jaggar Museum. The students were treated to a great show in Halemaumau Crater and we were also able to see Jupiter aligned with four of its thirteen moons.

St. Anthony High School has an excellent reputation for maintaining high academic standards. During its sesquicentennial history, more than 15,000 students have graduated from this school. Many furthered their academic pursuits by earning degrees from institutions of higher learning and have established themselves in a variety of professional careers internationally.

The St. Anthony Junior-Senior High School Athletic Department, in working with its athletes, strives to develop vigor, strength, endurance, vitality, coordination, and resourcefulness. Student athletes are encouraged to develop the quality of courage and the ability to think under duress, making quick and proper decisions. The individual should develop his/her athletic skills to the maximum degree along with the sense of responsibility and respect for the school, the team, the coach, and him/herself.

St. Anthony Junior-Senior High School has assembled a strong infrastructure of state-of-the-art technology related facilities and services throughout the campus, tailored to meet the needs of our students and faculty.
