Description
Facilities at St. Nicholas Ranch "The Ranch", as the locals call it, is a conference and retreat center located in Dunlap, California, 40 miles east of Fresno. Rolling hills, ancient oaks, a small lake, an apple orchard and an olive grove provide gorgeous natural surroundings. Nestled on 230 acres of what was once a working horse ranch, our lodges, meeting spaces and recreational facilities provide for very comfortable accommodations surrounded by rugged landscape. Both the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are only 20 minutes away from our facility, making it possible to visit both in one day! A breathtaking new Byzantine-style monastery overlooks the valley. (Click on any image to enlarge) Our facilities include both large conference halls and smaller rooms suited for meetings or "break-out" sessions. The dining hall, where our professional chefs prepare a variety of delicious meals and snacks, seats up to 150 and contains a large wood-burning fireplace. We can house up to 90 people in our twenty-six beautiful lodges, which feature private bathrooms and comfortable, resort style amenities. We can also house up to 144 people in our twelve dormitories, which offer shared living quarters and bathrooms. St. Nicholas Ranch is open year-around, with activities to suit every season. During the spring, take a nature walk on one of our hiking trails and view the beautiful wildflowers. In the summer, enjoy a refreshing swim in our full size pool. During the fall, go apple picking in our private orchard. And in the winter, make an excursion to the snowy Sierras, just a half-hour drive from our camp. At St. Nicholas Ranch, we consider hospitality to be a sacred obligation. We will do whatever is in our power to make your event pleasant and memorable for all involved.
