Saint Thomas Academy is Minnesota’s only Catholic, college-preparatory, all-male, military/leadership (JROTC) school, serving young men in grades 7 through 12.Founded in 1885, the Academy is located in Mendota Heights, just east of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on a beautiful 72-acre campus overlooking Rogers Lake.Saint Thomas Academy is founded on Four Pillars: a Catholic school with a spiritual and religious foundation; a college-preparatory school committed to preparing young men to succeed in college and in life; an all-boys’ school with a special emphasis on helping young men grow into manhood; and a military school focused on leadership training. The Academy, nationally accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS), challenges young men to excel academically, physically, spiritually, and emotionally both in and out of the classroom.
