Stauffer Diesel is a full-service authorized distributor for both Deutz and Mitsubishi diesel engines. Our mission is to be the comprehensive solution to your diesel power needs. That is why our foundation is based on superior diesel engines and complementary product lines like NACD PTO's and LOFA engine controls. We have a culture of product support because we genuinely like diesel engines and want to meet our customers' needs. Stauffer Diesel has been a diesel engine distributor since 1956 and we know our products well. Over time, we have added product lines that complement your next diesel engine, including PTO's and Control Panels. We also engineer our own Stadco Generator systems.

Over 50 years ago, SDI was founded as a sole proprietorship focused on improving the operations of local dairy farms in Lancaster County, PA. The founder Amos B. Stauffer, began by selling diesel engines and manufacturing diesel-powered refrigeration equipment. In 1963 the company was incorporated and structured to include the second generation. Many things have changed since then. The size and capabilities of our company have grown exponentially. Today SDI is a multi-generational company that has become a full-service distributor of Deutz and Mitsubishi diesel engines.
