Description

The engineer will resolve software bugs which customers encounter. Isolate cause of bugs, develop fixes and workarounds, specify testing to be performed and may perform some testing, will facilitate code reviews, and integrate fixes into the source code of affected releases, including the release under development. Diagnostic or other projects will occasionally be assigned.Position requires extensive exp. with UNIX kernel internals (preferably SVr4), proficiency in debugging methodology, ability to write complex programs in C, ability to communicate with technical and non-technical people, thorough understanding of computer science concepts, and ability to work well under pressure.
