Our Mission at Stalder Spring Works is to meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of our customers. We are proud of the quality of the products we produce, and the service we have given our customers since 1948.

By using an engineering standard that requires this information on all spring drawings, it causes the designer to check the calculations. As a spring manufacturer, we review this data to create our Process FMEA. We drive our Control Plans from the required data on the drawings. By specifying "Fits in", "Fits over", and "Maximum solid height", it requires the manufacturer to verify these attributes in addition to checking the dimensions of the part. Any fit and function issues should be identified as the manufacturer verifies the part fits within that envelope.

Our quality system requires a first piece inspection as we develop the production parameters, and control plans for a part number the first time it is set up. First piece inspections are available to our customers upon request.

With that said, we DO stock parts for our customers. These parts are manufactured to customer specifications, and we then stock them in agreed to quantities. This allows us to respond quickly to our customers needs and usages.

When developing a Supply Agreement for a customer, we begin by agreeing to standard pack quantities for each part. This allows the Customer and Stalder Spring Works to create a planned shipment for each part number. We then develop pricing based on estimated annual usage, and the desired number of inventory turns per year. We continue to evaluate the part usage pattern, and periodically adjust inventory levels to our customer's actual usage.
