In 1978 Standard Computer became the first service center for Heath Computer Systems servicing the first all-in-one disk-based personal computer system. At this time it took us forty hours to put together a 16K computer from component parts to retail at $2000. Now a 1 gig is possible for that price. Over 1600% increase in computing power. Standard Computer was on the cutting edge of technology in 1978 and is on the cutting edge now.
