Standard Manufacturing specializes only in the manufacture of pipe elevators and the safety of our products is of our utmost concern. Because of this we continually strive to develop safety measures to insure the reliability of everything we produce. The American Society of Mechanical Engineers has only certified Standard Manufacturing pipe elevators to meet the ASME B30.20.1 Below-the-Hook Lifting Device specification. We also meet all applicable OSHA requirements. Further, we have our elevators tested through an independent testing facility, Southwestern Laboratories . Since we have fulfilled all of these certifications we now paint our elevators bright yellow and tag each with a serial number plate. The reason for these changes is to protect the liability of our dealers and the safety of our customers. Rest assured that if you are using a Standard Manufacturing pipe elevator, you are using a certified safe pipe elevator. This information is available below in a printer friendly format.
