I contacted the manufacturer to inquire where I can purchase this product locally. I was told there was no sources outside the San Francisco Bay area. In January of 2001 I started Star Distributing for the purpose of introducing this incredible product to the folks in the North East. Since then I have added other product lines to compliment our product selection. I believe in these products and use them on a regular basis.

"We love all your products. The Clear Penetrating Epoxy sealer has helped us to repair instead of replace our decking.

Smith's Permanent Concrete Sealer is completely safe when used as directed. It leaves no toxic residue whatever and may be used in bath and shower areas where bare concrete must be sealed to prevent water intrusion into the sheetrock and wood behind grouted-tile surfaces. It may also be used on concrete surfaces which hold animal food, or in food preparation areas. Regular sterilization with steam or hydrogen peroxide will not affect the sealed surface. As a general Company policy, we do not allow any of our products to be used where they may come into direct contact with human food.

Star Distributing is looking for independent representatives to increase sales of our product offerings. Individuals must be willing to meet with end users as well as retail locations to develop your market. Experience with wood and painting systems is a plus. Prior sales experience is preferred but not necessary.

And so goes the story of how the manufacturer of an epoxy wood restoration product surveyed its customer base and found that over 60% of the product purchased was being used as a high-end primer on brand new wood!
