Description
Steppingstone's Outpatient Program provides ambulatory behavioral health services to individuals and families in Massachussetts. The Program began providing substance use treatment services in 1992. Recently in 2010, the Outpatient Clinic added mental health treatment services. The Program provides both individual and family involved treatment services. Licensed substance abuse counselors, psychiatrists, and mental health clinicians provide services to individuals and families experiencing substance use and/or mental health problems.
Since 1972, Steppingstone has been providing services to those in need in Southeastern Massachusetts. We are a leader in behavioral health and homeless services. We offer an array of individualized client-focused services in a variety of treatment settings. We are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to provide substance use and mental health treatment. Grants from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development enable us to provide various supportive housing opportunities for the homeless.
A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required. Current Ma license as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor or in the process of acquiring licensure required. A minimum of two years related work experience providing direct services to persons in recovery, homeless, or disabled persons. Good working knowledge of computers.
