Sterling Flight provides the highest quality flight training. A combination of our location , modern aircraft fleet , and staff that are highly experienced, professional and enthusiastic about what they do help us to create an experience for our customers that is unequaled by other schools. Because we are located in the San Francisco East Bay (less than a 40 minute drive from San Francisco), you can fly year round because of our mild, sunny climate. Our instructors are the most experienced in the area, and their experience is passed on to you.

Sterling Flight has conceived and developed a Directorate General Civil Aviation (D.G.C.A.) compliant training program, specifically tailored for Indian Students. This program is designed for the Indian Pilot to obtain a Private Pilot License through Commercial Pilot License with Instrument and Multi-Engine Ratings. Our programs are designed to meet your specific needs and you will benefit from our extensive experience in developing training programs for airlines.

Our current facilities located at 145 and 161 John Glenn Drive will no longer be used for any of our operations. This relocation will allow us to have better control over the condition of our facilities as well as allow us to expand to meet the increasing demand for the high quality training that we provide both locally and internationally.

We have a large and well maintained rental fleet. We provide a broad range of aircraft from low wing to high wing, single engine to multi-engine, and from light sport to high performance. Whether you are looking to train in or to take on a weekend getaway, at Sterling we have the aircraft for you! Listed below are all of our aircraft and simulators currently available for rental.
