Free from the politics inherent in larger firms, this firm is not burdened by ranks of attorneys who function only to oversee other attorneys and bill the clients accordingly.

Our firm is dedicated to providing its clients with hands-on service by the attorney the client has retained. There is no delegating of client work through many tiers of associates. The attorney the client retains, and develops a personal relationship with, is the attorney who actually performs the client’s work. Stern & Goldberg does not view client billing as a vehicle to finance a training program for inexperienced attorneys. Communication is key at Stern & Goldberg. Attorneys at our firm are very accessible to their clients.

Established in 1991 by Ellis Stern and Alan N. Goldberg, Stern & Goldberg is a law firm with roots dating back several decades. As an outgrowth of a prior firm founded in 1951, Stern & Goldberg is an embodiment of long-standing associations between its partners, many of its clients, and much of its staff. Our client list includes a number of sizable business clients who had been represented by Mr. Stern and/or Mr. Goldberg for many years prior to the establishment of the firm Stern & Goldberg.

Our civil litigation practice includes matters in both state and federal courts. Unlike many other small law firms, Stern & Goldberg has the expertise and experience to handle sophisticated matters. Drawing upon a depth of experience and advanced legal training, the partners of the firm each possess special knowledge and expertise in their respective specialty areas.
