Description
Parks and Rec Master Plan Project Begins – In December, Archuleta County, the Town of Pagosa Springs and School District Joint 50 received a Great Outdoors Colorado grant and a National Park Service technical assistance grant to complete a Regional Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Trails Master Plan. With the January 9 signature of the grant contract and Intergovernmental Agreement, the County has issued a Request for Professional Services for a planning consultant to lead this project. The timeline for this project is estimated to be nine months. Please visit the Special Projects web page for periodically updated information about this project, including scheduled public meetings and a description of the work plan. An Open House will be held on March 26th, 2007 in order to collect final public comments prior to presentation to the Board of County Commissioners for approval.
