Description

Manufacturers of MRO products that sell via distributors produce products and arrive at their standard cost of goods. They then follow varying pricing policies to these authorized distributors. For example, there are different list prices for different markets, i.e. the Automotive-After-Market has a different listing than the Industrial Distributor that markets to Industry.

Albert Thorp, III, Senior VP, CFO, Finance and Administration Al joined the executive staff in June 2011. He brings a wealth of experience in the Chief Financial Officer role including Globus Medical, Inc., a privately owned $300M spinal implant manufacturer, Technitrol, Inc., an electronics manufacturer, and two private equity sponsored businesses: Aramsco, Inc. and Brooks Instrument, Inc. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and has a B.S. in Finance and an MBA from La Salle University.

Provider "A" has lost incentive to continue to provide pro-active ideas to save money for clients. Provider "B" failed, which caused the corporation to reject the concept and fail to realize cost recovery dollars. Eventually, the company sent significant operations overseas in an effort to cut costs. This loss of American jobs could have been avoided if Provider "A" had been given the opportunity to provide the TCO benefits necessary to sustain the corporation.
