Strang Funeral Chapel has continued to meet the needs of the Lake County community for over 112 years. George E Strang opened Strang Furniture and Undertaking in Grayslake in 1898. He provided the local community with thoughtful and caring funeral services in private homes and churches.

Richard G. Theisen, of Grayslake, passed away Mon. Jan. 21, 2013 in Libertyville. Born in Chicago on Jan. 3, 1927 to the now late Joseph L. and Anna M. {nee Mann}. Richard was a Catholic Priest and teacher in Chicagoland for over 25 years. Beloved husband of Carol {nee Laursen} Theisen; loving step-father of four, step-grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of one; dear brother of Robert (Mary) Theisen; brother-in-law of Muriel Theisen; fond uncle of many. His brother Jerome Theisen and sister Patricia Thielen preceded him in death. Visitation at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thu. Jan. 24, 2013. Brief visitation at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E. William Earl Clark Jr., 80, of Eagle River, WI, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at Aspirus Hospital, in Wausau, WI. He was born in Evanston on March 21, 1933 to William and Louise (nee Ellis) Clark. A farmer for over 50 years, William loved to travel and put on ceramic shows. He was also famous for his beef vegetable soup. He is survived by two daughters, Penny Bublitz and Jackie (Lee) Baillargeon, both of Wisconsin; a step-daughter, Beth Nelson, of Illinois; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betsey Kroeck of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, John, and a sister, Eleanor. Friends of the family may visit from 1:00pm to 3pm, Saturday, February 1, 2014, at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. George J. Klindera Jr., a resident of Grayslake, passed away Thursday June 27, 2013, at the age of 84. He was born June 18, 1929 in Waukegan, IL, to George J. Sr. and Antoinette Klindera. George had retired from Volkswagen after having worked for over 20 years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force having served during the Korean War. He was a member of the Gagewood Lions Club and the Methodist Church in Camdenton, MO. George was an avid sportsman and fisherman. George is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty, his children Kathryn Walter and Mike (Lisa) Klindera, his grandchildren Justin Walter and Jana Klindera, and his siblings Elaine Spokas and Carole Roy. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends of the family may visit Monday, July 8, 2013 from 5:00pm until 7:00 pm with a memorial service commencing at 7:00pm at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E.
