TONY VISCONTI has spent the past few weeks in Studio A, tracking the debut from young Australian songstress Caitlin Ashleigh Wilson. *ADAM GONTIER, frontman for Three Days Grace tracked a bunch of songs with engineer Ruddy Cullers. *DECLAN BENNETT, star of Green Day's Broadway musical, AMERICAN IDIOT, spent a day tracking solo material with engineer Geoff Sanoff in Studio A. *DAVID JOHANSEN tracked vocals in Studio B with Rudyard Lee Cullers for a compilation put together by Personal Waste Management (a collaboration between German producers/composers ANDI SLAVEK and MICHAEL RAVEN). *In Studio A, VICTOR VAN VUGT produced and engineered the debut album for a collaboration between Australian songstresses SARAH BLASKO, HOLLY THROSBY and SALLY SELTMANN. *New Jersey's STEEL TRAIN worked on a song with engineer Adam Tilzer in Studio A. *LEVI KREIS, the Tony Award-Winning star of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, recorded vocal overdubs for the Broadway show in Studio A with engineer Geoff Sanoff. * Students from TOMATO'S HOUSE OF ROCK (aka THOR), recorded their own material with engineer Ruddy Cullers. Chris "Tomato" Harfenist (of Alt band The Sound Of Urchin) heads up the NYC-based school. *Brooklyn band THE PAINS OF BEING PURE AT HEART just finished tracking their new album here in Studio A, with producer FLOOD and engineer JAMES BROWN. *M.I.A. stopped by to work on mixes with Rudyard Lee Cullers in Studio B. *Stratosphere is now home to a fully updated Pro Tools HD rig (in both studios), complete with brand new Macs! *STEFAN LESSARD of the DAVE MATTHEWS BAND spent a few days working in Studio B with engineer ROB EVANS. *HANSON tracked a song in Studios A and B, with our own Michael Nesci engineering. * NYC's PHENOMENAL HANDCLAP BAND recorded a track in Studio A, with engineer Adam Tilzer, for a compilation by the RED HOT ORGANIZATION, which uses popular culture to join the fight against AIDS. *Steely Dan's DONALD FAGEN worked on overdubs in Studio A with producer/engineer ELLIOT SCHEINER. *Jazz singer & songwriter LIZZ WRIGHT recorded overdubs in Studio A with producer BRIAN BACCHUS and engineer KEVIN KILLEN for her upcoming album on Verve. *Scottish rockers THE TWILIGHT SAD just recorded a 5-song session for Live at Lime. The session will be available for sale exclusively at the LimeWire music store! Photos of the session and more info are here . *Legendary producer ED STASIUM was just in Studio A recording the final touches on a collection of JOEY RAMONE'S unfinished songs from over the years and has been collaborating with artists who were friends with Joey. Ed had a whirlwind few days here, working on tracks with such incredible artists as JOAN JETT, "HANDSOME DICK" MANITOBA, J.P. "THUNDERBOLT" PATTERSON and ANDY SHERNOFF of THE DICTATORS, The Godmother of NYC Punk GENYA RAVAN, STEVEN VAN ZANDT, RICHIE RAMONE, BUN E CARLOS, DENNIS DIKEN of THE SMITHEREENS, HOLLY BETH VINCENT, ARNO HECHT of THE UPTOWN HORNS, Joey's brother MICKEY LEIGH and AL MADDY.
