Classic Parsons/White B-Bender , in 1967. Since then he has designed, manufactured and installed StringBenders for hundreds of satisfied musicians. Gene is well known as a multi-instrumentalist and performer. He is also a master machinist and technician with 45 years of experience designing, building and installing StringBenders and has more knowledge and experience in this field than anyone on the planet.
The Fender (Parsons/Green) B-Bender is designed and manufactured to provide decades of trouble free service when it is properly adjusted and installed. These installation instructions assume that you have the proper equipment, skill and professional experience necessary to install this B-Bender.
"Clarence White's musical ideas created the need for a B-Bender and being raised in my Dad's machine shop gave me the skills to figure out how to meet that need. Clarence was exploring the musical possibilities of bending notes on a Telecaster. Late in 1965 Clarence and I were playing on a lot of recording sessions together. We had finished the basic tracks on a tune, maybe a Rex and Vern Gosdin track.
