Please call Lita Stucky at 605-665-4686 for the current class schedule. Home School Students can take classes in the mornings and afternoons. A Mom's and Tots Art Class is offered by request, whenever there are at least 3 - 4 mothers who have artistic toddlers. The mothers come in with their children for 45 minutes to 1 hour once a week during a morning or early afternoon. The children explore a variety of color mediums, blending, gluing, paints (in simple form), animals, sticker pictures, crafts, rubber stamps, and watercolors. Adult and Teen Art Classes are also offered. Most of the year we have at least 3 adult art classes: one in the morning or early afternoon, and two evening classes for those adults who have to take their weekly art lesson later in the day. Older teenagers are welcome to attend any of our adult classes, although we do have intermediate and advanced level classes for pre-teens and teenagers taking place after school. A visit to Studio Art Center can be set up at your convenience! The website will show you only a small portion of what is going on at the studio. Classes are kept very small, 3 - 6 students for fine arts classes and 3 - 9 students for Arts & Crafts. Anyone who is interested in art for themselves or a child can set up an appointment for a FREE ART EVALUATION (to determine the best class to be placed in) and a tour of the studio. For a better idea of what students are creating, click on the Student Gallery page. The Arts & Crafts program is relatively new. Eventually we will have more examples of the crafts our students are doing. We are very proud of our students' accomplishments. In the Student Gallery section ages are noted for all school year students. If no age is listed, the student is an adult. MOST ART SUPPLIES ARE INCLUDED IN THE TUITION COST!
