In 1998 the company was sold to Greg Rockwood and Uptime Electronics, Inc. Greg became president and the name was changed to Studwell Engineering, Inc. With over 30 years experience in the machine industry, Greg was looking forward to running his own company.

We specialize in scraping and alignment, and in addition have technicians available for field service repairs on many kinds of machine tools such as mills, lathes, grinders, presses, etc. Studwell Engineering takes pride in a professional attitude and quality work. Our mechanics and technicians collectively have over 150 years of experience with machine tools and we guarantee our work for one year.

Retrofit can mean anything from converting your old D.C. drives to modern A.C. drives or converting your old manual machine to a completely modern CNC machine. We can take your old N.C. or CNC machine and update it with a new control. For those that do not need a full CNC control, we have experience retrofitting manual machines to do custom production work.
