Suburban Computer Services (SCS) has been providing computerized accounting solutions to small businesses since 1981. The majority of our clients are from Metropolitan Detroit, but others can be found nationwide, from California to Florida to Delaware. We specialize in custom job costing programs for a wide variety of businesses from farrier (horseshoe) retailers to medical supply distributors. Wholesale / distribution represents our single largest customer base. Some of our advantages include: -Small enough to care. A typical customer has annual sales of less than $6 million, 8 terminals/workstations, 3 printers and has been a client of ours for over 8 years. -Standard accounting software Our standard, general business accounting programs serve as the backbone of our custom and customized installations. Programs include fully featured Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Payroll. -Custom programming All SCS programs can be modified or rewritten to your specific needs. Custom programs and modifications are given the same level of professional support as our standard (canned) applications. Most of our clients use our standard accounting programs as a core and then add custom, vertical applications such as job cost or billing/sales analysis. -Multiple user Every SCS program written since 1981 has been designed to operate in a multiple-user environment. That means allowing your accounting clerks to operate at the fastest speed possible without -Multiple company/division Every SCS program is designed to operate in a multiple company environment. -On site training Standard application modules include up to 4 hours of on site training. This produces confident operators which insures a successful installation. -Telephone & E-Mail support SCS provides free telephone & e-mail support to all of our clients. Most of your system problems and questions can be quickly solved without an on-site meeting. -System management Continuous evaluation of your system procedures and ongoing needs. This includes backup procedures, power to surge protection data entry operating procedures. This will insure that you are informed of any hardware and software enhancements that can be beneficial to your installation.
